A Note from the Cubmaster The numbers are in and it appears that we had a very successful fundraising effort. Great Job! I will provide all of the information of our success at the December Pack meeting. Because of some super salesmen, I am working up my courage to withstand several pies in my face (Splatfest rules). If I was a den leader, I would be worried. Your popcorn orders should be available from your den leaders this weekend. That will not leave much time to distribute prior to school letting out for the holidays. Thanks for all of your hard work. As a reminder, Pinewood Derby is just around the corner. The Christmas break is an ideal time for the boys to design and construct their car. The race will be here before you know it. Also, please consider making the trip to Corpus Chrisit to Live Aboard the Lex in April. We organize this trip every two years. The boys really like to live like sailors and explore the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. Your decision must be made in early January. The den leaders have all of the information. Finally, I hope that you were able to attend the Arrow of Light ceremony this past weekend. This very special ceremony is a way to recognize the boys hard work to complete the highest honor of Cub Scouts. Congratulations to the boys, and parents, in the Alien Patrol. I especially want to thank Fran, their Den Leader, for all of her hard work over the past 4.5 years. Amazing how quickly it has passed. Your talents will be missed by the Pack. See everyone at the Pack meeting. Cubmaster Tyler USS Lexington forms are due soon! |
